The short version

We don't collect, store, share or sell your personal data. Your game stays on your phone.

What the app collects

Nothing. The app does not ask for your name, email, location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera, and it does not request permission to use any of them.

Where your game is saved

Your label, artists, records and settings are saved in a file inside the app on your device. We never receive it. If you delete the app, the save is deleted with it. If you back up your iPhone, Apple may include the save in that backup under your own Apple account and Apple's privacy terms.

Internet and third parties

Names and people in the game

The label, artists, rivals, staff and city in the game are fictional, and any resemblance to real people or businesses is a coincidence. The names you type are saved only on your device.

This website

This site is a simple set of pages hosted on Cloudflare. It has no cookies, no forms, no accounts and no analytics scripts. The Beat Lab runs entirely in your browser and nothing you make is sent anywhere. As with any website, Cloudflare may process basic technical request data such as IP address and browser type to deliver the pages and keep them secure, under Cloudflare's privacy policy. If you email us, we use your address only to reply.

Children

Because the app collects no personal information, there is nothing to collect from children. The game is a business simulation with fictional music-industry themes.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date. If a future version of the game ever adds online features, this policy will be updated first, and you will be told in the app.
